“Beat the Band” Workout

Equipment: medium to heavy Resistance Band & a Yoga mat

Warm Up: 1 min. each exercise X 2
Jumping Jacks
Mountain Climbers
Jump rope (no rope necessary)
Exercises: 3 sets x 10-12 reps each exercise
Heel curls (on hands/knees; band in arch)
 Heel Presses
Standing Lunges w/overhead presses - R/L leg lead
Band Walks (band under feet; side steps)
Standing Plie squat w/bicep curl (band under feet)
Standing tricep kickbacks
Bent over rows
Ab crunches – kneeling, band hooked on door, handless by ears
