In this last segment, I will review three more apps designed to streamline your fitness business and stay on top of your clients.  Throughout my research, I have come across more training apps then I can count.  These nine apps I reviewed have received some of the highest customer ratings and were, in my opinion, easier to use with concise information.  Some apps were specifically designed for fitness and others were client scheduling apps.  Any of these apps will be a vast improvement from the old standard pen and paper accounting.

Booker:
Booker is a cloud based software system that can easily be accessed on any device making client tracking a breeze.  This app claims to help attract new clients while keeping current clients always coming back to one easy platform.  While this is not specifically designed for personal training, it has many useful tools to support your fitness business.

Appointments: client scheduling, schedule through Facebook, online client calendar,

Client payment: point of sale, credit card services, mobile payment processing, gift cards, ability to sell custom products, production promotions, membership packages

Other Perks: Marketing network, social media promotions, employee schedule management, payroll, employee and client management systems, business reporting system, email marketing, loyalty rewards programs, customer surveys,
Cost: $85.00 per month, Basic (Unlimited Logins, Online Appointment Bookings, Point-of-Sale, Detailed Records, Package Management, Gift Certificates & eCommerce, Credit Card Processing, add ons available); $135.00 per month, Standard (all basic options, unlimited document storage, loyalty points and rewards, membership management); Plus (price based on add-ons, includes all standard features, multiple location options, custom customer options, IP lock)

The Training Notebook:
This app is specifically designed for personal trainers and is designed for the iPad.  The online web version will be available late October 2016 for those wanted to use a traditional computer.  One downside is that the app is not available on Androids and is only accessible on apple devices.  Other issues with this app are the limited functionality with the promise of more add-ons coming soon.  For a full list of upcoming features, check the T-Notebook News page for information.

Appointments: updates coming soon will include: client calendar, email appointment reminders, built in calendar, session tracking system

Client payment: updates coming soon: session tracking system with ability to sell sessions

Other Perks: 3 in 1 timer (custom intervals, stopwatch, and countdown timer); assessment page with before and after picture comparisons, extensive online tutorials on how to use the app, liability waivers, par-q forms, store unlimited client programs and assessments, updates coming soon include: live video training, exercise library, fitness/movement assessment
Cost: one time payment of $14.99; timer add-on $0.99

Trainerize is an “all in one fitness solution” with services designed to better connect trainers with their clients.  This app also supports other online systems such as Mindbody, MyFitnessPal, YouTube, Skype, Facebook, Twitter, and Zapier.  One of the major benefits of this app is the extensive amount of programs and customizable options it offers for a relatively low price per month.  Trainerize also boasts about an award winning customer support team to help customers with the many facets of the app.

Appointments: in-app messaging, notifications, mobile client tracking,

Client payment: sell online training as an add-on, nutrition subscriptions for additional revenue,

Other Perks: online meal planning and nutrition tracking, secure client waiver storage, graph and analyze client data, ability to share client information between trainers, ability to list your trainer profile and certifications on Trainerize.me
