I am the Founder of New York City-based Om Healing and Wellness, a yoga instructor, wellness coach, speaker, and writer. Through my work, I use yoga, meditation, and other wellness tools to empower people to live life on their own terms, to be the author of their own experiences, to see that they have a choice in how they react to the external pressures they come up against, and to shed the “shoulds” and judgments people place on themselves. I specialize in working with people who are dealing with the physical and emotional complexities of trauma, illness or injury, specifically cancer and cancer treatments. I am a health columnist for the Three Tomatoes and author of the Om Healing and Wellness Blog. I hold a Bachelors of Science from St. Joseph’s College, and a Master’s Degree in Communication and Leadership from Gonzaga University. I am a credentialed Master Trainer through the American Society for Training and Development, a Registered Yoga Teacher through the Yoga Alliance, and have completed numerous yoga therapy trainings to address the needs of specific populations.
